DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The last of nearly 300 soldiers from the 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth returned from a deployment to Afghanistan over the weekend.  While at Kandahar Airfield, the 148th was responsible for supporting over a thousand sorties from August to October during Operation Enduring Freedom.  Since 2005, it was the fourth major overseas deployment of the Duluth based Fighter Wing of the Minnesota Air National Guard.
