GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - If you thought the upcoming Highway 41 construction at Mason Street is all for projects this year, think again.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation released their tentative listing of construction projects scheduled for the Northeast Region for 2012.

The list includes state projects on interstates, the United States highway system and the Wisconsin state highway system.

Construction costs for these projects are estimated at approximately $339 million.

"Unfortunately there's going to be plenty of orange barrels and drivers are going to have to pay attention and plan accordingly," says Regional Communications Manager Kim Rudat. "The flip-side though is we're getting all this done now, and that's going to improve our infrastructure and that's good for the economy in the future."

The Northeast Region includes the counties of Brown, Calumet, Door, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto, Outagamie, Sheboygan and Winnebago.

A complete list is available here.

Motorists are advised to use caution and remain alert when driving through any work zone.
