DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The annual Duluth and St. Louis County citizen lobbying event at the Minnesota State Capitol is set for February 29th and March 1st in St. Paul.  "Capitol Days" is sponsored by the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and they expect around 500 people from northeastern Minnesota to participate.  This week, Governor Mark Dayton got his official invitation to the event from State Senator Roger Reinert and Amber Griffith.  Griffith is the owner of a new start-up bakery business in Duluth called "Cake Occasions".  Dayton was presented with the bakery's creation called the "Lake Superior Cupcake" and said it was by far the tastiest invitation he has received this session.  Reinert says that Griffith represents the many small businesses in the area which he says are the "backbone of the economy".
