Adele fans everywhere won't have to wait until Sunday to hear what her voice sounds like now that she's had vocal cord surgery. On Friday, CBS This Morning will air a portion of the interview that Adele taped with Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes, in which she sings "Rolling in the Deep" a cappella for Cooper. If you don't want to get up that early, the performance will be posted to the website 60 Minutes Overtime immediately after it airs on Friday morning.
Adele's full interview with Cooper will air Sunday night on 60 Minutes at 7 p.m. ET/PT, directly before the Grammy Awards telecast, during which she will also perform. In the interview with Cooper, Adele once again addresses the fact that she doesn't have a problem with her curvy figure.
"I don’t want to be some skinny mini with my t**s out," she tells Cooper. "I really don’t want to do it and I don’t want people confusing what it is that I am about. I’m not shocking. I just stand there and sing. And I don’t do stunts or anything...I’m just writing love songs and everyone loves a love song.”
