Downtown property owner Rob Link in a press conference today showered members of Duluth's Clean and Safe crew with recognition, praise and gifts to say thank you for the group's hard work. Link said the group's work sometimes goes unheralded, and he didn't want that to happen this holiday season. He praised the crew and provided them gift certificates, cash and apparel for their hard work.
Clean and Safe started in 2005 as a way to keep the downtown Duluth area an attractive and safe place to work and live. It's managed by the Downtown Council and funded wholly by downtown property owners like Link and his partner, Lee Anderson. The duo owns the Technology Village, of which KDAL is a tenant.
