Duluth, MN (KDAL) - While the worst of the weather was to the south of the Twin Ports, motorists are being advised to use caution on Monday. Crews have been out plowing and sanding since Sunday evening, but while passable, some roads are slippery.
Five inches to six inches of new snow fell over the Arrowhead region of Minnesota, but down to the South and in Central parts of the State that snow total was higher, around sixteen inches with blowing and drifting snow. The State Patrol reports over six hundred automobile accidents, including one in Duluth between a car and city bus.
There were white out conditions reported yesterday and a hundred and fifty flights in and out of the Minneapolis International Airport were cancelled. Flights are on time today.
