Cold Spring, MN (KDAL) - Several thousand people turned out for the solemn ceremony of respect for slain Cold Spring, MN police officer Tom Decker. Governor Mark Dayton attended the funeral yesterday and said he was moved by the outpouring of people who attended the service.
Decker's final resting place is at Saint Nicholas Catholic Cemetery outside of Cold Spring. A horse drawn kason and a single drummer marked the cadence of Decker's final march. He was shot and killed last week in an ambush, the suspect in the case was released due to a lack of evidence.
