ST. PAUL, Min. (KDAL) - The Minnesota House on Thursday passed a bill that requires voters to show a photo I-D before casting a ballot.  The Republican sponsored bill passed on a party line vote with supporters saying it will make elections more honest.  D-F-L critics say it will make voting more difficult for many and keep them away from the polls.  The State Senate has already passed its version of the bill and the two will need to be reconciled before it goes to Governor Dayton.  The measure could be put on the ballot in 2012 if the governor vetoes it.
