CHICAGO (WKZO) - The Cubs are hoping to put a dent in rival St. Louis’ division title hopes- starting today. Chicago welcomes the Cardinals to the friendly confines to begin a weekend series. The Cards’ Albert Pujols has been a thorn in the Cubs’ side this season; during a three-game series in May, Pujols had game winning hits in back to back games, and is hitting close to .500 against the North Siders this season. Randy Wells will start this afternoon for Chicago.
