(St. Louis Park, MN)  --  It's turning out to be a bad season for ice dams on residential roofs.  Steve Kuhl [[ KOOL ]] is owner of the Ice Dam Company in St. Louis Park and says if residents start to see water or ice coming through their soffits that is a sure sign of an ice dam.  Kuhl says ice dams also put a lot of weight on a gutter system and the eave of the house.  He says they are not designed for that.  And that's why at the end of the ice dam season, we see gutters bent off of houses or falling down altogether.
