(St. Paul, MN)  --  Following last week's action by the Senate, the DFL-controlled Minnesota House today will likely pass a billion-dollar bonding package for state construction projects.  Democrats say quick action on a bonding bill demonstrates their commitment to creating jobs in Minnesota but House Republicans say Democrats are used to spending money.  Once the bonding bill goes through, the governor will likely use his line-item veto to trim the size of the measure or veto the whole thing.
