(St.Paul, MN) -- Top Democrats this morning unveiled a bill that would limit the governor's authority to trim the state budget himself. But Governor Pawlenty is warning any bill that tries to modify, reduce or limit unallotment authority without his previous agreement is going to get vetoed. DFL Senator Richard Cohen of St.Paul says he thinks it's striking that the governor threatens a veto over a bill he hasn't even seen yet. Sponsors say they're reaching out to the governor's office to try to work out a bill that's acceptable to Pawlenty.
