(Rochester, MN)  --  A police crackdown on speeding in southeastern Minnesota netted 10 tickets for driving over 90 miles-per-hour and five tickets for going 100 miles-per-hour or more.  In the 11-county area, the ticket for the fastest speed was in Winona County at 110 mph.  Second was a ticket for 107 miles-per-hour in West Concord and third was 101 miles-per-hour in Plainview.   The effort was part of a statewide crackdown in July, which issued nearly 30-thousand speeding citations -- 253 for driving faster than 90 mph.
