Here are some Kenny Chesney tidbits from the new People magazine, on newsstands now:
His Favorite Sandwich: "Grilled cheese. I love it. Just a plain grilled cheese with extra salt. I wrote a song called 'Red Wine and Grilled Cheese.' I'll put it on a record some day."
On A Sport He Loves: "One year I got into cycling. I was channeling Lance Armstrong! I had the helmet and all kinds of biking gear. I really love it because it took my mind off everything."
The Best Concert He Ever Attended: "My favorite was Bruce Springsteen on his acoustic tour. It inspired me as an artist. He knew I was there that night and dedicated a song to me. That was such a thrill."
TAYLOR SWIFT: High School Honors Her
Hendersonville High School's most famous alumna, Taylor Swift, is getting an auditorium named after her.
The Associated Press reports that Taylor donated $75,000 to refurbish the lighting and sound system in the suburban Nashville school's theater.
KEITH URBAN: Sunday Sings
Sunday Rose Urban is just two years old, but she's already had her first recording session. Daddy Keith tells People.comthat he recently brought her into the studio and set her in front of the mic. He says, "She did 'ABC' and she did 'Twinkle Twinkle,' beginning to end. It was so cute to see the little headphones on her."
No word as to whether Sunday's cuts will make it onto Keith's new album, Get Closer, which releases in November.
