TAYLOR SWIFT: Performing at the U.N. Taylor Swift will perform at the U.N. on October 25th, the day her album, Speak Now, is released. The event will be streamed worldwide live on CMT.com, MTV.com and VH1.com.
Toby Keith's Chicago concert over the weekend was the latest stop for hockey's Stanley Cup during its world tour, before it takes up residence on the Black Hawks home ice. The trophy arrived onstage on the back of a pick-up truck during Toby's opening song, "Bullets in the Gun."
Carrie Underwood is eagerly awaiting the announcement on who will make up the American Idol judging panel when the show hits the air again early next year. Even with the departure of all the judges except for Randy Jackson, Carrie's enthusiasm for the show that made her a star hasn't dampened. She says, "I'm always the first one to talk awesome about it because it's home." The speculation will end on Wednesday, when the new panel is announced during the Los Angeles auditions. A heavy downpour didn't stop Dierks Bentley and his fans from raising $50,000 during his Miles and Music For Kids motorcycle ride in Seattle over the weekend. Dierks says, "We've come to learn over the last few years of putting these rides on that motorcycle riders may look big and bad, but they have a heart of gold, and it would take a lot more than a little rain to deter them." Proceeds from the event go to Seattle Children's Hospital. |
