KENNY CHESNEY: Kicking Off With Kenny Kenny Chesney joins the thousands of fans anticipating the official kick-off of the college football season. It's a little early in the season to predict who will make it into the National Championship game, but he went out on a limb for us and said, "I think it will be a one-loss SEC team against, probably, Ohio State." Kenny is a die-hard University of Tennessee fan.
Miranda Lambert is looking fitter these days and she credits a low-carb lifestyle for shaving off a few pounds. But when she needs a day off from dieting, her go-to snack is Cheetos. She tells OK magazine, "I usually go with a 100-calorie pack...Every time I've ever had a fight with a boyfriend or anything, they always bring me Cheetos to make up. It's the way to my heart."
Looks like Martina McBride's daughter, Delaney, is going to follow in her mother's footsteps when it comes to being an advocate for women. In a recent blog, Martina explains that her daughter has started a club at her high school called "Love is Respect." She writes, "It teaches girls about self-esteem and the challenges of teen dating. They talk about signs of abuse and what defines a healthy relationship. I am so proud of her."
Taylor Swift has added some new greeting cards to her collection for American Greetings. The new cards feature numbered butterflies on the back. The numbers range from 56 to 73 and gives fans the opportunity to collect all 18 cards in the new series. The new line of cards will be available only through Target stores until early November -- shortly after the release of her new album, Speak Now on October 25th.
Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker are in the studio together working on Darius' upcoming sophomore country album. Brad writes on Twitter, "It's between a song we wrote and a Bluegrass version of 'Ebony and Ivory.' Tough choice." Darius is currently on Brad Paisley's H2O Tour. |
