FAITH HILL: Faith's NFL Picks
Source: Tennessean.com RONNIE DUNN: Solo Album Coming After announcing last August that Brooks & Dunn would be retiring, Ronnie Dunn speculated about his return to recording and now it has been confirmed. His record label has stated that "Ronnie Dunn is self-producing a solo album expected to release in 2011 on the Arista Nashville label."
The list of artists and songs featured on the Country Strong soundtrack has been released. Tim McGraw fans will be happy to hear that the duet he shares with Gwyneth Paltrow, "Me and Tennessee" is included. The song was actually written by Gwyneth's husband, Chris Martin of Coldplay. Other country stars on the album are Chris Young, Patty Loveless, Sara Evans, Lee Ann Womack, Ronnie Dunn, Faith Hill, Hank Williams Jr. and Trace Adkins. The album is in stores October 26th.
The Country Music Association has announced the first round of performers for this year's CMA Awards. They include nominees Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band with Alan Jackson. The CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on November 10th on ABC
Jason Aldean will donate proceeds from his October 15th show in Evansville, Indiana, to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. He got involved with breast cancer awareness after losing a friend to the disease. He says, "The day she passed away, my family decided that we would always do something to carry on her memory and to help in the fight. Jason holds a second fundraiser in Nashville every year during CMA Music Festival. |
