MIRANDA AND BLAKE: Karaoke Engagement Party Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton celebrated their engagement with some music business friends on Wednesday night. The party, which was held in an undisclosed location, included karaoke as entertainment. Martina McBride, who was a guest, wrote on Twitter, "Great party! Worth the trip! Sang karaoke -- 'Does He Love You' with Miranda and 'I Love Rock And Roll' with Blake Shelton. Love them both. So much fun!" MIRANDA LAMBERT: Pretty Song Miranda Lambert's next single is "Only Prettier." She says after "House that Built Me" she needed to sing something fun. "It's very feisty. It's got a little attitude, but it's fun." Miranda invited some of her pretty friends -- namely Kellie Pickler, Hillary Scott and Laura Bell Bundy -- to be in the video. Though the details are under wraps, the plot involves two rival cliques at a high school sock hop.
Rascal Flatts kick off their Nothing Like This Tour in Raleigh, North Carolina tonight (Friday). Though past tours had a lot of bells and whistles, this time around they've decided to keep it simple and stick to the music. Jay DeMarcus says, "We're actually going to take the fans on a journey throughout the past 10 years and we're going to start with 'Prayin' For Daylight' and work our way down to as many hits as we possibly can."
