JOSH TURNER: One's on the Way

Josh Turner and his wife, Jennifer, are expecting baby number-three early next year. Josh says he knew Jennifer was pregnant even before she did -- and pushed her to take a pregnancy test. He tells People.com, "She did and it was negative, but I refused to believe it. So when she took another and told me she's pregnant, all I could say was, 'I told you!' and she was floored."

The Turners have two sons -- three-and-a-half-year-old Hampton and one-year-old Colby.

 TIM McGRAW: Reaching Puberty

Tim McGraw has sung his share of fun songs over the years, but he's become much more comfortable with more serious material. He tells the Charlotte Observer, "If you're 22, they won't quite resonate. I'm 43 now, and my wife would probably tell you I've finally hit puberty. Mentally I'm around 16, according to her."

 TOBY KEITH: Songwriter First

Toby Keith has recorded just a handful of songs that he didn't write himself. And he'll record a song only if it sounds like he could have written it. Toby tells the Vancouver Sun, "I'm first and foremost a songwriter. And when I'm gone, off the world or out of this business, I want people to look back and say, 'Wow, I had no idea that he wrote so many songs.'"

 GWYNETH PALTROW: Gone Country

Gwyneth Paltrow did more than shoot a movie with Tim McGraw last fall, she recorded a few songs, and one of them, "Country Strong," is now a single. With background vocals from Vince Gill and Patty Griffin, the song is featured prominently in the movie of the same title, which comes out in December. The soundtrack will be available October
