CRAIG MORGAN: Mother Passes

Condolences go out to Craig Morgan whose mother, Betty Sue Crockett, died Saturday from pancreatic cancer. He sang about the strength of a woman facing cancer in his 2007 number-one hit "Tough." At the time, his wife had just been diagnosed with a pre-cancerous virus.


MARTINA McBRIDE: Not Wild Enough

 Martina McBride has passed on a song or two that became hits for other artists including "Wild One," which was Faith Hill's first single. But she has no regrets. She tells USA Today, "It's kind of like, when you look at a rack of gorgeous dresses. You can try them, but they don't really fit or make you look great. They look great on someone else. Songs are not right for some people and right for some other people."


DARIUS RUCKER: The Comeback Kid

Darius Rucker is confident that his pal Tiger Woods' game will return to the legendary status it held prior to personal issues which forced him to take a break from golf. He tells the Sporting News, "There's no doubt in my mind that it's going to be back to the level it was, and he'll be winning again, and he'll be the dominant player that we know." Tiger is expected to start in the British Open July 15th.


KELLIE PICKLER: The List Is Tough

 Newly engaged Kellie Pickler and Kyle Jacobs are already hitting some snags in planning their wedding. Kellie writes on Twitter, "So, my fiance and I have come to the conclusion that making "the list" (people to invite to the wedding) is the hardest part so far."


QUICK SHOTS:

Julianne Hough is keeping coy about her rumored relationship with Ryan Seacrest. She tells Entertainment Tonight, "If you want to know anything about boys or relationships, you'll just have to listen to the album, because it's all on there."
