TAYLOR SWIFT: Speaks Now

Taylor Swift's upcoming album, Speak Now, is, as she puts it, a "collection of confessions." She tells Entertainment Weekly, "I think that whatever I go through in life will be directly reflected in my music. If I have a bunch of different experiences with a bunch of different people and some of them are good and some of them are bad and some of them are confusing, you have an album like this." Speak Now comes out on October 25th.


COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION: Big Week Ahead

It's shaping up to be a busy week in country music:

  • Tomorrow, Justin Moore and Chris Young will announce the nominees in seven categories for the 44th annual CMA Awards.
  • On Wednesday, the action moves to New York City, where Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley have the honor of announcing the remainder of the nominees on ABC's Good Morning America at 8:30 am in all time zones.
  • Later on Wednesday night, ABC presents CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock hosted by Tim McGraw and featuring Taylor Swift, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and more. The show airs at 8 p.m. [ET].


LADY ANTEBELLUM: Headlining Tour

Lady Antebellum is gearing up for their fall headlining tour. Charles Kelley writes on Twitter, "We're going to have some really cool bells and whistles that we've never had in any of the past shows .... It's gonna be one of the greatest experiences of the three of our. The "Need You Now Tour" kicks off in Orlando, Florida, on September 20th.

TOBY KEITH: Extra, Extras!

Toby Keith's video for "Trailerhood" got its authentic look because many of the extras actually lived in the Nashville trailer park where it was shot. Toby says that the video's stylist had dressed some of the cast for roles in the mini-movie, but one look around at the residence watching the shoot inspired him to incorporate them into it as well.
