BLAKE SHELTON: Groom's Cake Blake Shelton is letting fiancee Miranda Lambert do most of the wedding planning, but he has definite ideas about the groom's cake. He tells the Associated Press that it will be red velvet in the shape of an animal. Ran is currently in Texas scouting venues for the event. On the business side of things, Blake says that due to the increasing popularity of digital downloading, he may never release another physical album. -- Tammy Ragusa JUSTIN MOORE: Time for Two Justin Moore's sophomore album won't be out until 2011, but he's already thinking about it now. He says, "It's tough because everybody tells you you've got your whole life to make your first album and then it's difficult to find songs for your next one. But I've been in town for eight years and I have a whole lot of songs that I've written at different points in the journey that I want to put on the next album, so it's not like I don't have somewhat of a well to draw from." --Tammy Ragusa NEW IN STORES: Trace Adkins Trace Adkins' Cowboy's Back in Town is in stores today. He describes the album as "a collection of the best stuff I could get my hands on." And while Trace also says there's an excitement around this new chapter in his life, the album title is not a reflection of that. It's simply the song title that worked. -- Tammy Ragusa MADISON CAIN: Taylor Made Country newcomer Madison Cain, daughter of Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain, cites Taylor Swift as one of her biggest inspirations. She tells Us Magazine, "I feel like she embraces who she is, and doesn't try to be anyone she's not. She's revolutionized the world of country music and brought in an entire generation of fans. Taylor has made it acceptable for young people to want to pursue a career in country music." --Tammy Ragusa |
