On Sunday, Trace Adkins is headed back to the boardroom, where he'll serve as Donald Trump's eyes and ears on NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice. As Boardroom Advisor to "The Donald," Adkins will oversee both celebrity teams as they provide image makeovers for country artists Emily West and Luke Bryan. Bryan will perform his single, "Rain Is A Good Thing," and West will sing her single, "Blue Sky," on the show. Emily shares, "Spending a few days hanging out with the cast of Celebrity Apprentice was really like a dream sequence, only I was awake. I kept saying to myself, 'Soak up every single moment...and look good at all times!'" The episode airs at 9 PM, ET, directly opposite the CBS telecast of The 45th Annual ACM Awards.
Adkins was a runner-up to winner Piers Morgan on the popular reality series in 2008. As a result of his appearance on the show, he has raised more than a half-million dollars for his charity, The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN). On May 10, his new single, "This Ain't No Love Song," will be released to country radio, with his first album for Show Dog-Universal Music to follow in August.
