Dear Lauri: I dreamed I had a baby delivered to me via FedEx and she had only one eye.  The other side, where the eye should be, was just smooth.  I felt like people would be mad at me for calling her Cyclops. None of it seemed weird in the dream but really freaked me out when I woke up! WTF?   - Monica 46, Knoxville, TN

Lauri: The baby is probably some sort of new responsibility or project, some new element in your life that needs your attention. Since the baby was delivered to you, rather than you delivering the baby, it is likely some new responsibility, not of your own making, but that you have been handed. The one eye seems to suggest that either you are turning a blind eye towards a particular issue or have only one point of view or opinion regarding it. The dream may be telling you to be open to others views or to open your eyes to your own potential.

Monica replies: That makes a lot of sense. I have a new role in my job and it is very stressful.  It made sense that I would accept it (the baby) and wonder how to proceed with the unexpected. I have accepted these challenges and proceeded but wonder if in the best way- maybe? I do feel that way, and have the freedom to call some shots, but still new enough to question myself, constantly! It certainly all fits, crazy how the mind sorts itself out!
