Two single-engine planes collided in mid-air in the Netherlands on Saturday, but no one was hurt, and both planes were able to land. And there's crazy footage of it online, shot from INSIDE one of the cockpits.
It starts with one plane pulling up behind the other, and for some reason flying WAY too close, right above it.
You can't see it, but the landing gear of the plane above punches through the wing of the plane below, and they get hung up. And right before they're both about to crash on a beach, they break loose from each other.
One plane made an emergency landing on the beach, and the other made it to a nearby airport.
(They collide at :24 and break loose at :48.)
(--There are actually two videos of it: The second one shows it from inside the cockpit of the plane that got hit. But it's kind of confusing because the person was filming ANOTHER nearby plane when it happened.)
(--But at :27 in the second video, it shows the hole that was punched into the wing by the other plane's landing gear.)
