If there's ONE world record America should own FOREVER, it's this one.  On Sunday, the Black Bear Casino Resort near Carlton set a new Guinness World Record for the WORLD'S LARGEST CHEESEBURGER.  The burger clocked in at 2,014 pounds, or just over one ton.  It was about 10 feet in diameter.  The burger included about 1,700 pounds of burger meat, 60 pounds of bacon, 50 pounds of lettuce, 50 pounds of onions, 40 pounds of pickles, and 40 pounds of cheese.  It's estimated to have around 4.1 MILLION CALORIES. 

From the photos, it looks less than appetizing...but a Guinness World Records rep on hand tried it and said it actually tasted pretty good.

(The previous world record for the world's largest cheeseburger was only 881 pounds.)
