Americans . . . especially the ones who leave comments on the Internet . . . have become shockingly good at turning EVERYTHING into partisan politics. Think Santa Claus is immune? Not a chance.
A new survey asked people whether they think Santa is a Democrat or a Republican. And . . . it wasn't even close. 44% went with Democrat, 28% went with Republican, and the rest went with "not sure."
(--The answer is clearly Democrat, by the way. He distributes presents to everyone, including the poor, AND has a factory full of union workers. Also, he's unshaven like a hippy and wears red like a communist.)
