Jana Kramer recently called her fiance Brantley Gilbert a "Groomzilla"! Now that's one I haven't heard before..Bridezilla sure, but Groomzilla?! Of course she's just teasing and is actually quite impressed that her fiance is so hands on with the wedding planning. He said he wants the day to be as stress-free for her as possible. Sweetheart! It really is sweet that he is involved with the preparation and wants her day to be happy. Two thumbs up for Brantley Gilbert!
Country singer Jana Kramer called her country singer fiancé, Brantley Gilbert, a "groomzilla" recently. Now Brantley explains to ABC News Radio what he did to earn that title.
"We were going to look at wedding locations, and the wedding planners, I was supposed to be following them, and they were driving, like, 30, and dude, I just can't work with that," he said.
"I was at home in Georgia, and I know all those roads and they were getting lost. And finally, I was just like, 'To hell with it.' I passed 'em, and I met 'em there. I was like, 'Y'all just meet us at the place. Y'all got GPS.'"
Fair enough.
"I'm just picky, you know. I want to make sure she's happy on that day, 'cause I know how stressed out she can be about certain things, and a wedding is definitely, I got a feeling, gonna be one of those," he explains.
OK, OK, Jana called him a "groomzilla," but she really likes how involved Brantley is in the wedding planning.
"It's sweet," she says. "The fact that he actually cares is the coolest thing ever, 'cause I hear from most brides that were like, 'My husband did not care at all.' And Brantley is super hands-on, which is . . . it's special. It makes me feel like he actually cares about it."
