OMG!  Did you hear the story about the kids from a New Jersey school who were made to eat their lunch on the gym floor as punishment fo...wait for it...spilled water.  One of the seven students was lifting a jug of cold water onto a cooler and spilled it.  Apparently the whole story goes deeper than just spilled water.  It was a racial issue.  A teacher encouraged the children punished to tell their parents which resluted in a law suit.  The chilren effected by the "gym-floor lunch" and the teacher were awarded a settlement.  T children had liners made of paper to eat their lunch off of on the gym floor but still.  Now I know that not all children are angels, but spilled water and ethnic background are no exuse for such a punishment.  Wow huh?!
