Thanksgiving wine selection should be made without worry

by Jeff Flynt

If you're anything like me, you enjoy spending hours scanning labels in a wine shop or liquor store. I'm trying to find that perfect wine, and continue to second-guess myself along the way.

One thing I'm trying to learn, and my advice to you is, don't fret. There are so many varietals and price points; it's easier than ever to find something you can enjoy, while impressing your friends and family.

Check this out for any specific recommendations.

My personal recommendation can only be made by varietal. For whites, I would suggest Riesling, Gewurztraminer or Chardonnay. For reds, I would recommend Pinot Noir, Beaujolais or Zinfandel.

I can't tell you what you like to drink, or what you should spend on a bottle. So stick with what works.

There are plenty of other reasons to stress during the holidays, and wine selection should NOT be one of them.
