A Georgia judge has set the date that Billy Currington will walk into a courtroom in and plead his case...October 4th, 2013.
It all started back on April 15th when a tour boat captain, Charles Harvey Ferrelle, and his 2 passengers reported to police that while they were cruising past a waterfront mansion on a creek in Georgia...a man became angry at their presence, hopped in a boat and started chasing them.
The angry man, later identified as Billy Currington, reportedly followed the captain to the dock where keeps his tour boat and began to verbally abuse the 70 year old Ferrelle, threatening to "catch him in the river" and "finish him off".
Billy's attorney entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday. Billy denies the allegations and, truth be told, we can't wait to hear his side of the story.
The charges Billy faces: making terroristic threats & abuse of an elderly person. Both charges are considered a felony and each could carry a sentence of 1 to 5 years in prison.
