Feast your eyes...that's Channing Tatum made out of....Mike and Ike candies!  Pretty "sweet" huh? : )  An artist out of San Francisco is known for his mosaic portraits.  The artists name is Jason Meicer. Jason told Yahoo! Shine. That he knows Channing is a hot item these past few months and was voted Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.  According to Yahoo!  Shine it took Mike 5,000 Mike and Ike and 50 hours of hard labor to make!

    I don't know about you...but I want to say thank-you to Jason Meicer.  LOL ~Jessie B

  • What I wouldn't give to speak Dutch so I could understand what they are saying in this video!

Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno are the hosts of a Dutch TV show called Guinea Pigs. Each week these two guys take on some sort of extreme dare – subjecting themselves to doing something either gross or painful.

On their January 14th show they decided to see how bad labor really is, and much to the delight of their female viewers, they strapped themselves into abdominal electrodes said to mimic actual labor pains. They only lasted 10 minutes!

The techs (all women) started them off slowly, as with normal labor, and you can tell the guys didn't think it was going to be so bad – laughing at each other and being silly. But by the end of the taping they were writhing in pain, and screaming for it to end! They should make every father-to-be experience the pain of labor! Who knew they had a machine that could re-create the feeling? (Time)

  • Remembering MLK with facts on his life

    Posted by Jessie B Hawkins

The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior was a pastor, crusader and the youngest man ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. His name has become synonymous with the civil rights struggle.

    • He enrolled in Morehouse College at age 15 and found his calling. Before graduating with a sociology degree, he was ordained a minister. In 1955, King earned a PhD in theology from Boston University.
    • King became the pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. At a time when racial segregation was still the law in Southern states, he became involved in local civil rights efforts that became a national movement.
    • On August 28th, 1963, a quarter-million people marching on Washington, D.C. to demand civil rights heard his "I Have a Dream" speech. "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up, live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be self-evident -- that all men are created equal."
    • Two decades after that momentous speech, the third Monday in January was made a federal holiday commemorating his birthday. Since the first observance on January 20th, 1986, it has been an occasion for people to remember King's life and re-dedicate themselves to achieving that dream.
    • In 1964, at age 35, King was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In 1968, King went to Memphis to support a strike by sanitation workers, most of whom were black.
    • On April 4th, he was assassinated while standing on a balcony at the Lorraine Motel. His death sparked riots across America. The Lorraine has since been converted into a national civil rights museum.

Miranda Lambert is fiercely protective of her time alone with Blake Shelton. She tells Redbook magazine, "He's the sweetest guy. Like, he will talk to anyone, sign anything, take a picture with everyone. And if I don't stop it at some point, it ruins our whole night. I have to be the bad guy. The people are like, 'Oh, God, don't mess with her, she'll murder people.'"

Ha ha ha ha!  Yes I can see how people would think Miranda would be capable of that.  Tee Hee ~Jessie B

The magazine with 'Ran on the cover hits newsstands on January 15th.
